Dear Dr. Boothe,

I wanted to express my deepest feelings of gratitude, following the successful Lasik surgery you performed on both of my eyes. I’m a semi-pro basketball player, and since I started to observe a decline in my eyesight about 9 months ago, I was using special set of eyeglasses while playing, and contact lenses during the rest of the day.

I saw your ads on TV and how you helped many other athletes, and began to research and find out more information about laser eye surgery. I decided to do the surgery with you, since your office staff was very informative and friendly, and you have more experience than any other surgeon in town.

My wife came with me to your office on the day of the surgery. You told us what to expect and how this will be done, and I was surprised by the ease and the swiftness of the operation. An hour later, while resting in your office, I was already seeing much better, on my own. You made a big difference in my life, and I am very happy with the result.

During the last check up we determined my eyesight to be 20/20, which is more than I expected. I now play basketball as usual, and my shots are more accurate than ever!

A note given to Dr Boothe after 20 years on the medical staff of the Medical Center of Plano.

They say, “Practice makes perfect!”
Naturally, most people when they contemplate the idea of having a surgical procedure done, involving their eyes, are uneasy and have many questions and/or concerns. Let me tell you that when I considered the idea of having laser vision correction, it was necessary that I would only trust my eyes to the hands of a proven and experienced doctor.

Well, in talking with friends of mine who had the procedure done, I learned that Dr. Boothe was one of the most experienced doctors in laser vision correction. Each person I talked to also indicated they had a pleasant experience and positive results. It seemed as though Dr. Boothe was the man for the job and I am glad I chose him.

From my personal experience, I can say that before the operation even began, I was well informed of what the procedure involved and had answers to any questions I had at that time. During the day of the operation, everything went smoothly with no pain at all, and just a little bit of pressure. The follow-up appointments were comforting, because I knew that my eyes were further being closely monitored after the operation to ensure success. Overall, I was impressed with the level of care and meticulous detail, which also included visiting with Dr. Boothe personally on multiple occasions. Throughout the whole process, everything seemed so systematic and orderly. Additionally, there were many personable assistants who aided in the process.

I walked in legally blind, without the aid of contacts or glasses, and left with 20/15 perfect vision.
Certainly, when it comes to Dr. Boothe, I am convinced that practice does indeed make perfect!

Dr. Boothe,

It has now been over a year since my lasik surgery at Boothe Eye Care and Laser Center. Not a day goes by that I don’t feel grateful for the miracle that that you and your astounding staff performed.

To be able to see clearly without contacts or glasses is something I never thought I would be able to do. Now, over a year later, I’m still enjoying nearly perfect vision.

To anyone who reads this who is considering whether to have lasik at Boothe, take my word for it: Do it. You won’t regret it. I waited more than a year after my surgery to write this letter because I wanted to make sure that the restoration of my sight wasn’t a fleeting miracle before I recommended the procedure to others. I can now give it my wholehearted endorsement.
